SAFE OPERATION

Surgical operation is of capital importance for Boğaziçi Vet. Health Center. Therefore, we will have an advanced level of surgery room and experienced operation staff we can present proudly. In our opinion, the criteria required for safely carrying out an operation are the followings:
1.Safe anesthesia
Detailed information about this topic is provided in our website under the same title.
2.Experienced and concordant staff
The staff that we foresee for any operation is a doctor team consisting of at least 4 people. These are our experienced friends:
- the one who carries out the operation
- the one who directly assists the operation
- the one who assists the operation by outsourcing the required materials and assistance
- the one who observes the anesthesia and monitor.
3. Availability of adequate technical devices
Boğaziçi Veterinary Center is proud of having the maximum facilities this respect. For example:
- Sterilization of our surgical room by ultraviolet beam.
- Sterilization of the operation tools by vacuum autoclave
- Hydraulic and dynamic operation table providing many facilities to the surgeon
- Operation lamp with cold light ensuring less water loss from the patient’s body during operation. By this way, dehydration would be minimized and would provide many facilities to the surgeon of the operation.

- Usage of Laser: In brief, laser means less bleeding, less Infection, less Pain and Recovery within a shorter time. We provided more detailed information under the title of “Laser”.
- Monitorization: Surely, nothing can be more important than it during an operation, in terms of observing the living criteria of our patient.
- Gas anesthesia: By this means;
- The doctor would be able to carry out the operation more peacefully, without thinking about the operation time, anxiety of recovery stage, and particularly anxiety of the side effects of the highly severe anesthetic substances.
4. Post-operative care
The stage of recovery from the anesthesia is the most critic moments that should be closely monitored by experienced doctors. Since the first 4 days after the operation is the period, in which complications would appear, we recommend that our patients must pass that post-operative period in our hospital. By this means, any possible problem can be detected by us earlier, and the required interventions can be made as soon as possible.
