CATARACT OPERATION
Phacoemulsifier is used for removing the cataract (blurred lens) from the eye.
Probe of the phaco turns the lens into small particles by vibrating with approximately 40 KHz ultrasonic frequency
The small particles are taken out of the eye by being sucked through the central hole of the probe.
